In 2001, the Telemedicine Information Service (based at the University of Portsmouth) sponsored a fact-finding mission to South Korea to find out about telemedicine and related technologies used and developed there.
The mission was supported financially by the International Technology Service of the Department of Trade and Industry. Much assistance in the organisation of the mission was provided by the Science and Technology section of the British Embassy in Seoul.
The mission was in Korea from 5th to 9th March 2001 inclusive.
Some of the photographs we took are available.
A seminar was given at the DTI in London on Friday 25th May 2001.
The Mission Report is available online in HTML format.
While in Korea, the mission members gave a seminar at the British Embassy on Monday 5th March 2001.
