The Telemedicine Information Service is proud to be one of the founder members of the Confederation of e-health Websites (CEW - pronounced "queue").
CEW's aim is to provide a collaborative link between websites involved in collating and disseminating information regarding e-health and telemedicine.

Telemedicine and E-health Information Service |
The objectives of TEIS are to bring together those working in the field of telemedicine, telecare and e-health; to encourage them to share information and experience; and to provide an information resource on telemedicine and e-health activity in the UK. The Telemedicine and E-health Information Service is run by the University of Portsmouth. We also operate an email discussion list. TEIS originated from the information collected during separate surveys of Telemedicine and Telecare activity in the United Kingdom, commissioned by the Research and Development Division of the Department of Health. This has been supplemented by information gathered from a wide variety of sources. |
